mr nick thorburn. islands has been one of my favourite bands for a while now. they played mostly the new album, which is much quieter than their previous stuff. it actually translated surprisingly well in a small, sit-down venue. i talked to him for a bit and got him to sign my screen printed poster too, so that’s cool.
